Studies in Green

As we've traveled and walked through Charleston, Savannah, Beaufort, St. Simons Island, and other southern towns, we've been fascinated by the enormous live oaks and the beautiful Spanish moss that hangs lazily from their branches.

Enjoy these studies in green: a tree tunnel on the entrance to a plantation; the moss catching the sunlight dappling through the trees; as well as the majestic Angel Oak, estimated to be 500 years old, whose longest branch extends 187 feet from tip to tip.
